Looking at the technological construction of the internet space artist and writer Zach Blas researches emerging alternatives in response to the mainstream post-digital discussion. In his talk he will detail his ‘Queer Technologies’ project alongside ‘Facial Weaponization Suite’ workshops he conducted in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and Mexico City. He will further elaborate on his Contra-Internet strategies inspired by Manifesto Contrasexual written by philosopher Beatriz Preciado in 2000, with curator Övül O. Durmusoglu.
